The Awakening is the Young Adult Ministry of Fellowship Dallas

 The Awakening is Fellowship Dallas' primary young adult community from which you will find ways to engage the life of this church.  We have Community Groups, missional initiatives like in the South Area, a Sunday morning discipleship community and social gatherings throughout the year.  To stay connected you will want to find us on Facebook and Twitter and well as join our email list.

Sunday Morning  

On Sunday Mornings, the Awakening gathers at 9:30 in room AE202.  Bagels, coffee and O.J. are served and Pastor Phil leads us in a discussion that prepares us for the sermon at 11am or through a series which happens about once a quarter.  For more information about this group, email Kyle Purcell at or check out the Facebook Page.

Community Groups

We have three Awakening sponsored Community Groups:

• The Young Adult Women's Group  This community Group meetsThursday nights at 7:30 and is led by Joy Schrader and Daryl Harshbarger.  The location moves from Lower Greenville area to The Village Apartments.  If you'd like to attend, please contact Joy at  for more informationor go tothe Facebook Group Page. 

• The Young Adult Men's Group  This group meets Thursday nights at 7:30 as well and is led by our ministry intern, Kyle Purcell. They meet in Lower Greenville and you can email Kyle at for more information and direction or go to the Facebook Group Page

• The Uptown Group This unique mixed group of men & women, singles & marrieds, is led by Pastor Phil and Steve Wade and meets at St. John's Tavern in Uptown Dallas.  It meets on Tuesday nights at 8pm.  You can email Pastor Phil or find the Facebook Group Page for more information.
