Couples Considering Marriage
Here at Fellowship Bible Church Dallas, we love healthy families! One way we support them is through programs for couples considering marriage. We offer premarital classes, premarital counseling and marriage mentors. Studies have shown that programs like these strengthen marriages, reduce risk of divorce, improve communication and reduce unhealthy conflict. Let us help you start your marriage right!
Premarital Class
The Premarital Class is designed to help you establish a Christ-centered marriage that beats the odds of staying married in today’s culture. This seven week class gives practical marriage skills, tackles topics like conflict, sex and money, and combines the effectiveness of the Prepare/Enrich Program® with the added value of marriage mentors.
The Prepare/Enrich Program will provide you with the necessary knowledge, insight, and proven relationship skills to create a successful and satisfying marital relationship. By helping you identify your relationship strengths, discussing delicate relationship issues, and working through proven relationship building exercises, you’ll begin to experience improved communication skills and be better equipped to resolve future disagreements in a more positive way.
When joined with the Prepare/Enrich Program, the marriage mentor relationship will provide you with a more realistic view of marriage and foster more positive ways of relating with your partner. By interacting with a marriage mentor couple, you’ll learn how to effectively resolve relational conflicts and identify issues before they become problematic in the relationship.
Fellowship Dallas' Premarital classes are part of the state's "Twogether in Texas", and upon completion, you will be eligible for a discount (currently $60) on your marriage license fee.
