Fellowship Dallas Giving
Fellowship has enabled online giving as a convenience for those who want to participate in what God is doing in and through our church. Your giving helps meet physical and spiritual needs of thousands of people who attend Fellowship. You're also impacting people in our own backyard such as the refugee community in Vickery Meadow, people in our church plants in other areas of the metroplex, and people and communities in Sudan, India, Germany, and Costa Rica through our global partnerships. We greatly appreciate you joining us in our mission. Your faithful contributions are serving many lives in many places. THANK YOU! “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:21
Ways To Give...
- Personal Checks or Cash. Place checks or cash in the offering basket on Sunday mornings or mail them to our Finance Office at 9330 North Central Expressway, Dallas, TX 75231. NOTE: In order for cash to be credited to your contribution record it must be placed in an envelope with your name and address written on the outside.
- Online Giving. There are two ways to give online:
- Give with an e-Check, which is an automatic and secure deduction from your checking account.
- Give using Mastercard or Visa, but we discourage the use of giving through credit cards UNLESS you are able to pay off the card balance each month.
- Not Comfortable with Online Giving? You also have two options:
- Click here for an Electronic Funds Transfer application to set up regular automatic giving from your checking account. You will need to attach a blank, voided check (not a deposit slip) to the completed EFT application and submit both to our Finance Office.
- Request from our Finance Office a printed form to complete which will authorize the church to charge your Mastercard or Visa. We do not encourage credit card contributions UNLESS you are able to pay off the balance each month.
- Stock Gifts. As the stock market rises, it can become advantageous for many people to give stock gifts. If you own stock that has appreciated in value, you may be able to give it and receive an appreciated deduction for shares that were purchased at a lower price in previous years. If you have questions about a stock gift, contact your financial advisor.
- Planned Giving and Other Assets. This method involves designating the church as beneficiary under a will, trust and/or insurance policy, as well as other creative means of giving such as land or estate gifts.
All contributions received are deposited to the church’s General Fund unless otherwise noted. To give to one or more of our designated funds, you must indicate the desired fund(s) on the "memo" line of the check, in an accompanying letter, or on the outside of the envelope if giving cash. For more information on our designated funds, please contact Finance Director, Joan Curry, at 972-852-4106 or . Our Finance Office is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is located in the church offices on the 3rd floor of our Park Lane facility. Joan can help you with all your giving needs, answer all your questions, and provide you with whatever forms or information you may need.
We Encourage…
- Giving as an act of worship. Giving is an expression of our love for God and our devotion to Him. It is born out of our free response to all He has done for us, not out of guilt or duty.
- Regular percentage giving. We ask everyone to prayerfully decide on a percentage of their income they are willing to give to the church, and consistently give that amount throughout the year.
- Creativity in giving. Being good managers of what God has entrusted to us doesn't just include giving money; we’re taught to give of our time, talents, and other treasures as well. We frequently receive non-monetary items of value.
You Can Expect Us To…
- Manage the church's finances with integrity and professionalism. Daily financial activity is managed by our Finance Director. Monthly financial results are reviewed by our staff, Finance Committee and Elder Board. Our financial statements are audited annually by an independent accounting firm.
- Provide you with quarterly updates on your giving, as well as your year-end charitable tax statement.
- Make our annual budget available to you and gladly make copies of our audited financial statements available to those who request them.
Haiti Disaster Relief Fund
We’ve established a “Haiti Disaster Relief” fund to collect donations for Haiti relief efforts. Those who want to give to this fund can do so either by check payable to Fellowship Dallas (earmarked “Haiti Disaster Relief”) or by giving to this option on our website (Click Here to Give Online). The money collected will be used (a) in connection with our own efforts in Haiti, and/or (b) to support the relief work of one or more reputable Christian organizations doing proven and effective work in Haiti, such as Samaritan’s Purse (www.samaritanspurse.org). Contact Executive Pastor, Tommy Shelton, at if you have any questions.
