Daily Prayer Guide:
May 21st - May 26th
Monday— Friday — Read the Nicene Creed
Each day this week, read through the Nicene Creed and pray that the Holy Spirit would continue to remind you of the truth of the Word.
The Nicene Creed (also known as the Constantinopolitan Creed or the Creed of 150 Fathers) is the most universally accepted of all Christian creeds. It stands as a lasting testament to the orthodox faith that has been handed down to us from generations long past.
We believe in one God, the Father All Governing, creator of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible;
And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten from the Father before all time, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten not created, of the same essence as the Father, through Whom all things came into being, Who for us men and because of our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became human. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried, and rose on the third day, according to the Scriptures, and ascended to heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father, and will come again with glory to judge the living and dead. His Kingdom shall have no end.
And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and life-giver, Who proceeds from the Father, Who is worshiped and glorified together with the Father and Son, Who spoke through the prophets; and in one, holy catholic*, and apostolic Church. We confess one baptism for the remission of sins. We look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Saturday—Read 1 John 2:28-3:10
This coming week, we will continue our journey through 1 John. What we will learn is that knowing your true identity in Christ is the foundation for living confidently. Pray that the Holy Spirit would bring the truth to light during this Sunday’s service.
* The word “catholic” means “universal”, and here refers to the universal Christian Church.
May 14th - May 19th
Daily Prayer Guide:
Monday— Read Hebrews 10:21-23
This passage reminds us that we have been redeemed by Christ and have gained access to God through the indwelling Spirit. Worship God for who He is in your life and in the life of our church.
Tuesday— Read Romans 8:38-39
God’s kingdom is one of love. A love that is unmatched and inseparable for those who believe in Christ. Thank God for welcoming you into His kingdom and ask Him for discernment that you might live according to His will today and the rest of this week.
Wednesday— Read John 15:18-19
One reason that we are not to love this world is that the love will go unreturned. It is natural for the world to be hostile towards believers in Christ. Ask God for the strength to make it through today, that He would give you your daily bread.
Thursday—Read James 4:4-8
Ask God for forgiveness for the times when your pride has grown to be greater than your love for Him. Ask Him for the grace to submit to Him and to flee from Satan.
Friday— Read Psalm 73:24-26
God forgives those who believe in Him, despite their weak flesh and often unwilling heart. Give God the glory in your life and ask Him for opportunities to be a reflection of His glory in the lives of those around you today.
Saturday—Read 1 John 2:18-27
As you seek to abide in Christ, remember His promise of eternal life. Pray that God would let His light shine through you and through Fellowship Dallas as we gather to worship tomorrow. Pray that our worship services would glorify God and unite His people for the Kingdom
