At Fellowship Dallas, we believe every follower of Jesus has a part to play in the life of the church—including helping our kids grow in faith. Whether you’re a parent, a college student, an empty-nester, or just someone who loves seeing kids light up, we’d love to help you find your place on the Fellowship Kids team.

Every child who walks through our doors needs consistent, caring adults who will show up and point them to Jesus. You could be one of them.

This is about more than childcare. It’s discipleship. It’s presence. It’s planting gospel seeds through play, prayer, stories, songs, and quiet moments that can shape a life forever.

‍Why Serve in Fellowship Kids?
We’re working to fill every volunteer role by the end of July so we can launch into the fall fully staffed and ready for all God has planned. When every spot is filled:
• Every child will be known and cared for in a safe environment
• Our teams will be well-supported with consistent volunteers
• We’ll reduce our weekly paid nursery staffing costs by over $250
• And we’ll build a strong, sustainable team to serve families all year long

Whether you’re gifted with infants, have fun energy for preschoolers, love a good conversation with preteens, or prefer to serve behind the scenes—we have a spot for you.

‍Where We Need You

Sunday Mornings at 9:30 AM (Bi-weekly Rotation):
‍• Nursery (Birth–24 months): 8 volunteers needed
• Preschool (2–5 years): 7 volunteers needed
• K–3rd grade: 6 volunteers needed
• 4th–5th grade: 2 men needed

Sunday Aftercare (11:30 AM–12:30 PM for Life Groups/Trainings):
‍• Preschool Aftercare: 6 volunteers needed
• Elementary Aftercare: 6 volunteers needed

Midweek Prep Roles:
‍• Help prep supplies for crafts, events, or classrooms

‍What’s Expected of Volunteers
We take seriously the responsibility of caring for kids—and we’re here to help you thrive as you serve. Here’s what’s required:
1. Be a regular part of Fellowship Dallas for at least 6 months
2. Complete a volunteer application and background check
3. Complete 1 hour of online MinistrySafe training
4. Have a short conversation with a Fellowship Kids staff member
5. Commit to serve from August 2025 through June 2026
6. Attend our Volunteer Training on July 27
7. Choose a consistent serve rotation (bi-weekly or monthly)
8. Respond to weekly scheduling emails
9. Show up, be on time, and be engaged with the kids you serve

We’ll equip you with everything you need—lessons, supplies, and support. And to make sure you’re spiritually fed, you can attend the 8:30 AM service on Sundays you serve.
